i have to agree that he aint amazing but he\'s still nice and as he\'s chaos i defo buy some and try to actually paint him!

I think the reason they updated him was to bring him in line with the \"new\" chaos look. The cloak now looks alot more like the cloak on the new khorne champ on foot\'s. I think I read somewhere that the green chaos warrior was a mini Martin did to do to get the job as a sculptor (but i could be wrong). If you look at it, the axes have been done to look more like the chosen\'s axes, and the helm is more \"stylistic\", a la the chaos lord on daemonic steed.

I agree with the person who said this would make a great chaos sorcerer, that person is right and I will be doing that. Compare the artwork for the chaos sorcerer in WoC to the mini, and it just doesn\'t have the same cool factor.

Out of interest, if this was in the CMON gallery, what rating would you give the paintjob (using the picture in the original post -which has been blown up for some reason - as reference)?
