Ermm.. Wow. Seeing those shots make it even more difficult! I think that I\'ll have to go with Todd\'s.

The base is amazing! If you\'re still watching this thread, what kind of \'resin-water\' did you use and how did you apply it to the base?

Those WIP shots are better than the ones on the GW site! Go figure....

That \"block of water\" effect is amazing.

I use Envirotex Lite Pour-On High Gloss Finish. Of all the resins I have used this is the best. You just mix the resin & hardner 50/50 so it is really hard to mess up. I bought it at Michaels (chain craft store in the US)
I made a mold out of plasticard and poured in the resin around the base. I hope this helps :)

Arma, the rock was very simple. Base with Cold grey and a little black + swamp mix. Add Cold Grey for highlights. I used several thin washes of my swamp mix at the end. (check my write up on this mini at the GW website)

I warm to Natalya Melnik\'s of the four. I\'ve never much liked the orc general kit and she seems to have done the best with it of the four, shortening the tusks and increasing the fur on the boar, both of which drastically improove it. I cant say i\'m too hot on the paintjob though and the base is probably the least attractive of them but she has made me look at that model in a new light in regards to it\'s potential.

I have to say that I quite like Tim Holly\'s warlord. Now it may not technically be the best peice there by any means, but it\'s definitly unique and has a lot of character. The style I find to be very reminiscent of Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, which I love. The sword is really interesting (close up isn\'t too nice though, but great from the shorter distance).

Of course all the others are great as well.
