Well, I have yet to see a model tree that looked this good, and I completely re-painted it. However the Neccy Diorama I did; Im sure I could have built that base...
As it is I have too much to paint to worry about building lol

Just thought I would note that in Canada Pet shop stuff is way way too expensive to consider using for Scenery.

Now what I do pick up and use is stuff for Xmas villages, especially when you can find it at a Dollarama (everything in the store is $1).

Super-cheap? Maybe for you Americans, like DR said... my LFS (that\'s local fish shop for all the non-aquarists ) sells tiny plastic caves for a tenner. Most of the ornaments are too shite for scenery anyway, but that tree looks pretty darn cool.

Well....
the tree isnt actually fishtank stuff, origionally this thread included my (now) Necron diorama (thread catagory, page two or so) the tree is from a Shrek?? playset. got it at a yard sale for @ .50 US.
