I honestly don\'t gey why people are saying that\'s a hard colour scheme to paint ???

I did my Emperors Children particoloured pink and black. I\'d suggest priming black drybrushing all the metal up to the finish, then go back over the plates with a bit of thinned down black being careful not to go over the metal rim detail. The re priming will get rid of the excess metallics from the dry brushing. Then basecoat the areas you want in each colour and go from there. There\'s no need to keep switching back and forth with the colours just do one colour to completion then the other. It\'s not very different from painting Empire liveries or Brettonian heraldry.

i agree i don\'t think it will be too difficult. I\'m going to start up a \"Test mini\" tomorrow - not been able to get much done this last couple of days as my wee boy and myself are unwell. Will post updates when i can :D

Thought i\'d better post a wee bit of an update just in case anyone think\'s iv abandoned this - unfortunately my little boy and myself have been ill the last week so not been able to get much done -however i DID manage to paint the gold armour trim on one of the marines - i\'ll try and get pics added on later tonight. I\'ve decided to do the weapon cases etc in red (As a spot colour) and i\'m also thinking about doing their helmets red....anyone got any opinions on this or do you guys think i should stick with the colour scheme iv come up with already for the helmets?
