It does work pretty well and suffers infinite reuse. I believe it still has to be disposed of as a hazardous waste. But why dispose of it?

Kiddlies & Animals, Flammable and can seriously erode concrete not to mention paint.

Has anyone tried soaking and then blasting with a pressure washer? I have use of an industrial pressure washer system but using it on a minimum setting it strips my old minis beautifully.

I found my fave way of stripping paint quite by accident the other weeked when I carelessly applied superglue debonder to a miniature. When I wiped it off the mini the area that it touched just slipped off like butter.
It may not be a cheap way to strip a mini but it does it perfectly, with NO scrubbing, does not remove ANY detail on metal .... or the PP minis I have stripped with it anyway. It is an absolute dream to remove paint with. Leaves no remnant paint either in the tests I have done. There has got to be a catch as it seems too good to be true considering all the ways I have tried to strip paint .... but I just haven\'t found it yet.

Seeing as it can effect some plastics it may pay to test it on an odd piece of sprue or whatever first.

I\'m fairly paranoid about toxic materials, and Dettol didn\'t impress me after two or three tries - the paint started to come off, then turned into a sticky goop that wouldn\'t come off. (+ pine-based products aren\'t good to have around arthropods, i.e. my few tarantulas...)
I vaguely remembered someone talking about basic cleaners, so I went and bought a bottle of Flash all-purpose. An overnight dip is more effective, and it still has some problems with primers, but overall I\'m very pleased with the results. The paint comes off clean and easy, with a pleasant lemon scent.

I was roaming my local store looking for a huge amount of simple green or pine sol.....
and ran across purple power. It\'s a car degreaser. Anyone try that yet? I stuck with pine sol because I\'m removing paint for a commission and didn\'t want to risk killing the plastic... but I\'m interested in feedback because it comes in a huge container and is fairly cheap.

i found this after a few more attempts...i found artists turpentine in a rag seems to get this off quite well however it might have affected the surface of the plastic as the waveserpant i was stripping has some pale areas in the plastic. this does sand off but i dont know whether it was the turps that affected the paint or the fact that i accidentally got some Cif bathroom cleaner for limescale on it too...possibly the 3 different chemicals didnt like each other.
turps seems to be good at getting rid of paint too however i think the badly painted plastic high elves i got given will have to be proverbial guineapigs again...ill drop one in the balsam turpentine ive got in a jar and see what it does to it.

nail polish remover on a rag also seemed to get rid of the goopy stuff but again this isnt too nice for the plastic

As I just got some old greatswords from Ebay a couple of weeks ago I thought I\'d have a mooch and see if I could pick up some Dettol from Tescos. The problem is when I went to the cleaning section they seem to have fifty billion different types of the stuff. Obviously the \"kills 99.9% of household bacteria\" component isn\'t a big factor (unless I\'m stripping Plaguemarines) and as Enions picture link no longer seems to be working I have no idea which one to go for. How about the all purpose 4 in 1 multi action cleaner?

Do you guys no what the equivalent there would be (if any) in the USA.
is it the same as pinesol over here or
something entirely different. ???
the only reason is i got a FW model of ebay a bit ago and its kind of covered i paint
i us kleanstrip right now (works on plastic and metal) and i dont want to find out the hard way that resin and klean strip dont work.

Pine-Sol is Dettol sold under another name.

It definitely works on plastics but getting rid of the horrible sticky gack it turns the paint into is best done with a pressure washer.

BTW, be careful about buying pre-owned plastic minis on eBay, they may be poorly assembled or melted with plastic cement.
