Ebay Ups Fees! what\'s a painter to DO?

I got tired of the ebay fees and opened my own website. I checked into the ebay store and found that all my profits would be paid out in fees. I knew the fee increase would come, but it is less than I thought.
What if a group of people that do different things for the mini industry join forces and build a site to offer it all? If I can fumble through all the hype, and get a site built, I know anyone can.
Just a thought....

No problem, I saw the same panic on a mailing list I frequent, and since I also read the eBay boards from time to time, I knew that most \"regular\" auctions wouldn\'t be affected. I too don\'t believe in \"handling\" fees, when I do eBay things (off and on depende on how much stuff I need to get rid of :) ), though I tend to estimate conservatively for shipping and then refund if I have overcharged... if people pay through paypal a refund is easy to do. I\'m sorry TAB that you\'ll have to put up with the changes though :( I do know some people that use the store that will suffer for this. There\'s been a lot of talk of people moving to overstock.com instead, but I don\'t know, the thing about eBay is you have a lot more bidders to drive up the price. For store items though, I dunno, almost sounds like its not worth it, unless you sell very high ticket items regularly... or just keep running them as auctions as needed perhaps.

As for the last, you\'re almost 11 years too late :D

I looked but they had no list of warmachine or warhammer, Does not seem viable, but hey thanks KatieG no offense taken here I am working all angles to see whats up should open the web store soon and carry only certain rotating stock lines like dark ages harder to find goodies and such.
