Aluminium sandwich : take 4 sheets of thick aluminium foil, a lot of glue between them and give them shape before the glue sets. The foil will keep the shape until the glue is dry, then the glue will give strength to the finished product.
you can also use the top and bottom sheets to wrap around the armature (\'fingers\' in the dragon wings) so that the transition between wing and finger is smooth and strong.

Kat gave me an idea, I saw this really cool wire mesh at an art store that you can mold and shape, they had actually done a couple of nice looking sculptures with it. I thought it would be great for molding scenery and terrain, but now it occurs to me that it would be great for Dragon\'s wings. It is a thin, very fine mesh that you could then coat and smooth for painting. I may just have to try it on something soon!:cool:
