Don\'t speak that language though. I can ask for Beer in German, French, Spannish & Greek.

hope you know how to ask for the bathroom after all that beer ;)

after enough beer, i doubt he\'s gonna be caring where the toilet is ;). tho he might need to be able to talk his way out of public nudity charges

as for the giant. saw it, loved it, voted (i think 9 or 10). unless i forgot. it happens sometimes. however, as shadzar has pointed out, due to the fact it not painted, some people are gonna rank it lower than i think it deserves. so slap some paint on, and get it back out here to get the score it truly deserves

no hablo.

well a lot of people probably dont vote high on greens because of this...

Voting Guide: Pretend you\'re a Golden Demon judge. Painting skill, imagination and style are key!

Well if you take it litterally it could mean that only GW minis are allowed... Personally my interpretation of this sentence makes me think exactly the contrary: I see really no imagination or style in painting an Ultramarine or an ogre like GW,even remarkably. But I\'ve learned here that for some changing a % in the mix given in the tutorial they read make them believe they\'re artists!lol sorry 1...
And in my opinion, more than 2 submissions of the same mini is more than boring.I mean sometimes I wonder if people aren\'t only after scores.Especially when then they cry in the forum...;) sorry 2...
Sell your giant or paint it (or both!!!).Sometimes it can be consolating.:)

got to agree with PF on his comment. you did post like 4 versions of this green. i know you want everybody to see the amazing work you have done, but you allready beforehand had another 4 images up of WIP status.

people are going to get fed up with seeing 4 of the same images clog up to top 10 last 7 days page, and are thus going to give one of them a low score.

@gibbon: prosim t\'a, ukaz iba jeden na galerii a potom postuj viaz obrazky na \'forums\' teda nedostanes \'sniping\'

i have allways used the discuss submissions forum for multiple photos and then taken the best one and put it up as a link. that way no problems:cool:

not really only if you are a stuck up GW emplotee or asinine idiot about WYSIWYG and forget that the models are a hobby.

more to the point the first thing it says. \"Painting skill\"

it is after all an unfinished product. now should a green be shown as a before and the finished paitined mini for the after in the same image then a combined score would be warranted. i just dont feel personally that a high vote is deserved for unfinished work.

be kinda my like paying the plumber and he has onyl stopped the leak by turning off my water. i still got no water so the job isnt finished yet.

hope that makes since. cause i am tired and thinking is getting to be bothersome ATM.

I think his point was more that the voting guidelines can and should be interpreted and changed. If we were to follow them by the letter, as you are suggesting with the \"painting skill\" requirement, then you could just as easily say that non-GW minis should not be voted on, as you are supposed to be a \"GD judge\".

Personally, I love the green.....I gave the giant a ten. I mean, it was an incredible sculpt, and aside from being technically amazing, it must have taken a huge amount of time. The multiple pics are a bit of a bother, though. I also think the picture quality hurts you a bit...the compression makes it look a lot rougher than it is. I didn\'t realize how awesome it was until I saw the detail shot of his head, but on the other hand, if you downsized it to get rid of the compression, it would be too small to see well. Unfortunate, but true. :)

I just checked the distribution of his scores on all his stuff and I do not see anything wierd at all. I am assuming that it is just a matter of taste. He did not receive any lowball scores at all, which is pretty hard to believe... after being on the top 10 last 7 days.

So I can tell you no sniping here...

Cool.....I\'ll bet if that feature (being able to see the score distribution of a miniature) was made available to the public, there\'d be a lot less bloody whining about sniping.

And the ones who had an actual case (much fewer than now, I\'d wager) would be given a lot more attention. As it is, I tend to blow by posts about \"sniping\".

*EDIT* Evidently, I didn\'t blow by this one....guess the fact that it was in a different language caught my eye. :D

Yeah it\'s good to know that there was no snipping. I agree that it must be personal taste. 13 pictures are a lot for 1 miniature, even if it is that cool.
