Define \'Tabletop Quality\'

Personally, I prefer it if the mini at least has the name from the blister or box it\'s from listed. I\'ve seen a few \"another minis\" that I myself would like to paint, but can\'t find them even if the manufaturer is listed. And if it\'s a conversion, why not list what went into making it. BTW, I tend to round down an minis that are not named. Seems a might lazy to me....

Here is a wrench in the gears. . . . I just saw a mini that was still all green stuff with no paint and a sh*tty photo (blurry little to no detail) and it was rated about 60 times and it had an 8.1

Aside from that TTQ for me is if I painted that would I play with it in a game? If I would be embarased than I go with the lower scale (1-4). If I would play with it but know that I could have done it better than I would give it a 5. If I think that it is a \"playable\" mini that the extra time was spent to make your friends go wow than it go\'s up to 6-7.

Now, If I look at it and go \"Why would I chance any thing happening to that in a game?\" Then I look at 8-10.

Bases can add/subtract a point but normally unless they look hideous I just ignore the base and if I go WOW then I give it +1.

To me 5 is tabletop and tabletop to me is based, colors within the lines with shading and small highlights. Usually this means drybrushing, blending isn\'t a big issue here, but if they\'re too contrasted, I would give them a 4.
