Oh, you truly can't!
I am even starting to get oil paints recently, and that's a whole different ball game. There are extremely sought after and expensive oils made from rare ingredients. A particular type of blue is made from some plant in Afghanistan. The Chinese make an incredible off red that Michael Harding sells for an arm and a leg. I will start using them on minis one day, but I can't justify buying the rare stuff until I get into actual canvas oil painting (I plan to).
