Small update, finding the skin alot harder to do than I first thought.

Any ideas on improving it ?

Maybe a few flesh coloured washes, like the boil colour in the bottom photo :D

They both look great so far though, I\'m very impressed

I would say you need to solidify your skin tone a bit more in places - on his lower back on the right, on his arms and around the stomach esp.
Some of your shadows are to dark considering where they are - look at the shadow on TOP of his chest, whats causing that?

Nice work so far, like the veins showing through.

I would paint the face bursting out of the stomach a different colour to the normal skin.

Maybe a bit more purpley/blue give him sort of a bruised look.

Yeah, like the color of a baby JUST being born.

The veining you have put on the skin is just plain creepy. Those look like my late grandmas vericosed legs....Good work!;)

Gotta agree with those saying to change the color of the extra face. Doesn\'t have to be a dramatic change, just something to set it off from the rest of the skin even if just some different skin tones.

blue ink, painted on using a fine brush.

then very very thin glazes of skin colour on the top.

So the glazes worked then Chris! Glad to see this is coming along great, i saw it when you had been painting it all day at GW and the flesh was looking great then, and great use of the head on the belly!
One thing though, hes looking a bit \'pink\' i would add a few brown glazes to darken it up, but not to many so you cant see the veins.
