wowzer, this will be like motiveception because I'm motivated because You're motivated because I was motivated.
Well bloody ghosts turn quite alright taking into consideration I've got stye in one of my eyelids, my teeth hurts because gingival recession, and I've got like a lot of headache from this teeth and my frontal sinuses that are extended to my temples...
But the painkillers take most of it away...

Anyway here's some sneak peak of the rest of them, because why not batch paint to conserve some time :)

The texture on the cloth looks great and as do the colors you've chosen. I really like the red hands and it will really make these guys stand out in any battle. This is some top-notch work!

Great job. Like the "ghostly coats" with blue and green.
The texture on the tunics looks great too. Good inspiration and nice timing since I have the minis already assembled sitting on my desk^^ :)

These look great! I've seen these painted up here and there, and they always tend to look very similar. You've done something very unique with the red skin/bone and the textures.

I actually quite like the blue troll, only issue I see is some of the highlight lines are a little thick.

Wow for around 2 hrs the result is quite stunning though oO.

Think the problem with the edge highlights was that you had to freehand them on. Have problems with that myself. The paint either doesn't flow well or dries to fast on the brush. On the ohter hand it shouldn't be too thin since it won't cover enough and you want to avoid multiple passes.
I'ld try some additives like flow improvers + dry extenders. These should help. A good substitute for flow improver can be dish soap. It breaks the surface tension of water at makes it run off the brush quite well. Add a bit to your water and thin your white with it a bit.
You still have to be quite fast though. Dry extender might buy you a bit more time.

But yeah it needs courage to freehand over a nice airbrushed surface -.-

Had strong need to rehabilitate myself so here goes this little fat fella.

Now excatly what you mean xD
But the little Bat/Dragon thing looks great. Like the colorchoice and contrast. Very good layering job. Looks clean and neat :)

Well, it is not easy to get precise paint time... I brushed him on sunday when baby was asleep, so quickly paint some and then just pow, not painting anymore, and repeat. And this took 2+ hrs so maybe 2 and a half? And this is only for brush work. I don't know how much time I was airbrushing it because I was working on multiple models ea a sweet knight of shrouds on ethereal steed, or experimental primarine.

As for the brush I use vallejo airbrush flow improver + water. I tested glaze mediums, acrylic mediums, dry extenders and flow improver works best for me :) I just rushed too hard without proper state of mind.
Other problem is that sometimes I'm too lazy to change my wet pallete and there's just no place for fresh paint left on there xD So slaloming my brush there.

As for the Bat Squig thanks mate!
It needs some touchups here and there but I'm satisfied for now :) still needs to somehow fix that troll, but maybe later. I will focus on some easier tasks.

Ok so here’s the trick on the edge highlighting on flat surfaces. If you made those line even thinner it would be magic.;) Anyway I ferkin love the troll annnd I too love the squid-if I wasn’t taken ide marry it. That’s how beautiful it is!!!
