Man you lot are useless, a load of that stuff is out there already! (immortal knows it!)
Hasslefree does make loads of cool miniatures (I really like their Scooby Doo gang and the Shaun/Ray figures) but I need symmetry when I field a game. Right now there isn't enough known about the scale of the Zombicide figures to start grabbing up minis from this manufacturer and that. Not too mention as nice of some of your examples are they would prove to be quite a jarring contrast to the Zombicide sculptures by comparison. I'm not saying there not fine sculptures but there are obvious differences in sculpting/art styles.
Painting ability plays a pretty big factor in all of this as well. A good paint job on a so-so sculpt can make a world of difference. Just as a poor paint job can hide all the detail on an excellent sculpt. My painting skills are for lack of better term "subpar" so if I couldn't do a sculpt justice I would prefer to leave it unpainted. That being said I am in the same boat as Matt when it comes to picking up miniature based games. I weigh the quality of sculpts/mini almost as heavily as game play when choosing.
Right now quite a few of these are just our way of testing the waters to see how receptive CMoN and GG are to suggestions regarding future survivors/game scenarios.
Still I'm probably going to end up buying the "Dynamic Ray" and "zombie Ray" figures because they would fit into the theme so well. I just hope they will fit in scale wise.
