So I just went to try and go take the pictures and...

Two words... broken camera

Ive got the torso just about done, but unfortunately there are issues with the camera, so I will be using a friend\'s camera to take pictures on saturday.

Finally! Drumroll please...............

The repairs have not been completely finished, but you cant see those from this image. Got the torso nearly finished. Next step is his left arm. Update will be sometime near the end of this week.

P.S. Sorry for the poor pictures. They werent bright enough, so I adjusted things in Paintshop Pro. Hopefully it\'s worked out alright, it\'s decent on my monitor at least.


Edit: Almost forgot: On some Abaddons ive seen, he has one of his shoulderpads painted red. I\'ve read the horus heresy books, and they never describe this. Is this just the artist\'s preference, or is one of Abaddon\'s shoulderpads red according to the \"fluff\"?

My apologies, TBS. I know when you get your fix, you want it to be high-quality stuff...

The problem with the photos is that I had to do with a makeshift photo station, consisting of a diffuser box and one desklamp overhead. And had about ten minutes to take them, at that.

Better pictures next time, I promise

Edit: TBS, remember: less time taking pictures now means more time painting =P

I figured the Heraldic Iconography was really bringing the history of ill deeds to the fore!

No, no.... This is not dead! Ive just been busy, you see...

There isnt really any excuse I can give, other than Ive been so busy with class and work, the last thing I want to do when I get home is pick up a brush. (As much as I want to work on this piece)

I will try to squeeze in a painting session in this weekend.

Please forgive me for being so slow, I know it\'s frustrating, but just think of how frustrated I am with this guy sitting on my desk, and me not being able to work on him!

Update!

Okay, so I had a little time for a painting session. I got his left shoulderpad done, I know it\'s not much, but hopefully that should do until I can find a bit more time. In an attempt to compensate for such little progress, I tried to take some better pictures of everything else so far (My photography skills are not that great yet)
