Been quite some time since i last posted, so this will be rather pic heavy. The finished veteran sergeant and the plasmamarine got really glossy as you can see. I asked for advice about that in another thread and will dullcoat them later on.

Any comments would be nice. I\'m mainly curious what you guys think of the plasma glow, havn\'t tried anything like that before. The mini is finished, but if there\'s anything i should do diffrent the next time around.

The speeder is probobly one of the more boring minis i\'ve ever painted. So i may have cut some extra corners there trying to just finish it. Need a few more hours to do so tough...

Very unusual paint cheme but they look awesome, I like how you obviously pay attention to every single mini - admirable; the freehand and osl effects are very good as well. I´ll be following your work closely.

Thanks for the kind words, appriciate it. As stated earlier in the thread, the colour scheme is inspired by the star wars sandtrooper. I\'m actually a bit suprised that my choice of colours seem to be so odd to many, but i\'m happy it works.

Altough these are ment to game with, i\'m still in the hobby for painting rather than gaming and i do enyoj the details. That\'s the fun part. Hehe, the downside is that i\'m yet to complete my first squad of these guys....close to 4 months since i started this project. Just one more to go...

I\'ll post these for voting when the whole squad is complete.

Cheers!

it looks good. I think it looks a bit messy though, after the first ones it looks like you got a bit unpatient and started to paint faster. but! it\'s an \'army\'!so it doesn\'t have to be top standard on every model

I would say that I like the commander most!

keep it up, I like seeing progress on this one :)

Finaly, first squad finished. I\'m kind of satisfied with how they turned out. Sure, there\'s things on each one of them that could have been done a bit better, but overall and also considering that this will eventually be an entire army i\'m satisfied with the standard. I will try to get some better pictures before posting them for voting, ´cause these kind of suck to be honest. My camera\'s got a few years on it\'s neck and i have got no real good light to use either. Funny thing how the minis turn up when photgraphed. Always seems like some things looks worse than irl while others actually look way better in a pic... Also, i\'m not sure how to arrange them, if they\'ll look better together or if i should break them up into two groups. I\'ll have to experiment some with that.

Anyway, here they are:

The heavy bolter is an old metal one. A real bitch to assemble, and it also had some really nasty moldlines that i had to fix with some green stuff.

If you miss the bird logos freehanded onto the banners and stuff these guys might pass off as some \"high end gaming minis\" but those eagles just look amazing. They definitely elevate these guys quite a bit IMO. Nice work on the eyes and other lightsourcing.

BTW where is that bolter arm with the strap from? I haven\'t seen that bit before that I\'m aware of.
