The Demon of Rage
The demon of Rage is scratch-built, and sculpted from plastic card, metal wire, Super Sculpey and green epoxy putty. This miniature took about three weeks to sculpt. This miniature stands about 16 cm. tall, and it's wingspan is 15cm. This Demon of Rage was painted with mainly Vallejo colors, and Vallejo peint retarder for blending. A lot of care went into wet-blending and layering shading, to make certain shade transitions seamless. The non-metallic metallic armor was made to look brassy, or perhaps gold. This was a challenge, as the armor itself is not very flat. The light source shading was a challenge as well, considering that the massive amounts of fire should really be making everything yellow and white. I decided to create a balance between directional light, and ambient light. I am posting up two different angles of the "greens" and the painted miniature. I simply can not fit everything I need into one picture, and I am sorry if this upsets anyone. Thank you to everyone who votes and comments on this miniature.
