I saw this mini in White Dwarf ages ago and really wanted to paint it. I chose a different colour scheme to the film as I wanted to use it as a halfling paladin. Let me know what you think.

The glodd hurts this one alot. Also there is little change from one area to another because there is not blacklining. The belt especially don't stand out as they should. Finally you could go with some highlighting on the cloak. I agree with the other comment that you can do better though I understand its your first posting. You can obviously paint decently and chose good colores. Fix a few of those things and you are good to go.

I've just viewed this on another monitor and have learned two things - 1. Yes it does look shiny. 2. I need a new monitor because it doesn't look like that on mine. Also, I promise this is mostly due to the camera flash and does not look that shiny in real life so please try to see past that when voting. Thanx.

This is a very good first effort. We like the more neutral colour scheme you used. However we agree with Ghaffasa: the metal is too shiny.
