a nice moddel to paint. I use layers of PVA glue to make the head arround his mouth and in the tankard. my old stlye of painting (pre blending). but still a lovely mini, I will get some more Pics up soon

Some Muppet

thanks, allready have. as i said. this was painted a long time ago. i've just finished an ogre maneater (the pirate one) and it is very good. hopefully get photos up tomorrow. also comming soon is a warlock i did about 2 moths ago, grimgor iron hide, an imperial preacher and jarren kell. they only need about 2 more hours combind. lots of eldar, im finishing my army so they will be up here soon (next week i should have my rangers and farseer up) in the next month i sould have finished my sisters of battle, and mabe some chaos marauders. and im starting to convert a vampire. it's all very busy round here. i've just seen what else is on my painting table and it don't look pretty (imperial guard, Inquisitors and -I- stormtroopers and thier rhino) anyway. that just alot of mindless gammble and im sure ive gone into too much detail.......

5 is tabletop standard so its not really bad at all. I would agree with darkartminiatures comments but would also add that the sculpt is not a brilliant one. If you put the photo (which I don't think is too bad at all actually - I've certainly seen worse photos) against a picture of some of the top artists on this site you will see why this is scored as it is. For example my first piece up on CMON is scored between 5-6, it's only some tank trap scenery so the piece is hardly exciting to look at and go "ooooohhh". But they are painted to a good standard and look cool in the flesh. Choose a more interesting mini for your next job.

Hi some muppet. I think its a five because of a couple of things. 1. you could get a clearer pics of it. 2. the green around the base is untidy. 3. His beard could do with more highlights. 4. the metal looks half done. I like the blue though and the texture of the base. Overall i think a better photo might help. maybe you could pick out the buttons with a different colour? Anyway i hope this helps. Good luck. :)
