Mystery Mini 7

My hat off to the first person who properly identifies this old mini. As to the paint job, I did this about 15 years ago with Testor Enamel paint, straight from the jar, with a plastic brush. I painted the eyes with a metal pin stuck in paint. I see so much potential wasted here that I am tempted to strip the paint and do him well. Then I remember what a pain stripping that enamel is and look over at my unpainted I-Kore minis and the feeling passes. :)

Having recently stripped all my old Grenadier and Ral Partha minis in order to repaint them, I have found that a product called Citristrip works really well. Use the wash that sells with it afterwards, and you have a perfectly clean mini with no discoloration at all.

My how far you've come. :D I'm just amazed you got the eyes in with all that thick paint.

I'll be taking this down soon, and since no one guessed it, this is the "bard" from the Grenadier "specialists" box set.
