Goramorka Fone Komp'ny Repair Trukk

This was a semi-whimsical mini done for a friend. It's my first time assembling a vehicle, and the most extensive use of plasticard I have ever done. For all that it's fairly simple. I built the basic Trukk from Gorkamorka and built rectangular boxes to place on the sides to resemble the storage cabinets on the side of repair pickup trucks. The ladder is simply made of toothpick bits tied with thread, and the rack it's on is simple wire painted black. I used GW flesh wash to add a little bit of rust around the hinges of the doors on the sides. The paint scheme is that of a friend's real life company...bastards had to use white. White is such a pain! I had to put gobs of layers of paint on to cover the markings on the plasticard.

As the recipient of this gift, I have to say that it is so much cooler looking IRL...I absolutely love it, and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Believe me, the pics just don't do it complete justice. Thanks Vince!!

Wow, harsh crowd! I think this is fun and a great gift for a friend. The figure is a solid paint job (I quite like the skin and face particularly), and it's clear the truck took some constructing. I like the little touches with the rust. I suspect a lot of people see the white and think it's white plasticard without reading the description and looking closer to see it's painted white.
