My hat off to the first person who properly identifies this old mini. As to the paint job, I did this about 15 years ago with Testor Enamel paint, straight from the jar, with a plastic brush. I painted the eyes with a metal pin stuck in paint. I never even finished painting this one. I never could decide on a color for the hat. Now I don't plan on keeping them and figure whoever ends up with them will probably strip the paint anyway, and if they don't they can paint the hat. :)

Yep, the Druid that came in 2006, the Specialists box set. It is amazing how much better the old Grenadiers look stripped and repainted!! Try it-it's worth the effort.

Yes! that was an old Druid! My friend used to play with this fig as his figure back in the old d&d days. We liked Grenadier back then and their figs were cool. Came a long way figs have.
