My wife has been working on Desert Wings for a competition...these figs are a real challenge. And finally, someone who understands lighting! We've seen several versions of this fig but you're the first one to highlight the thigh and boots as part of the cone of light from the magic...strong work!!!

Thanks for the comments,the effect i tried to get with the spell,was as if it was like a fireball,that was being pulled from the staff,in order to be "thrown",so im pleased that it looks like fire,thanks again,more comments welcome!!!

Very, very nice. I can see the light sourcing from the spell, now that you've pointed it out. I like the face and fleshtones, and the cloth is excellent. But I have to agree with the criticism on the spell, though. The way it's tendrils are wrapping around the staff I get the impression of crackling energy, like lightning. You painted it like fire, and it just doesn't seem to be moving right for fire. Then again, since none of us has probably ever seen an actual spell effect, I could be wrong and you could be right on the money. :)
