Winged Faerie With Sword
First try at SENMM on the sword and the rings at her hip, and as well first time using this method of gold. Her hair is streaked with red, looks really cool in person, a little darker too. I love the effect on the wings. Painted with pink and light blue, washed with the same purple her hair is done with, then washed with gunbolt metal and lined with black. The pink and blue hues don't show as well in the pic, but in person they sneak out there and it's pretty cool. I opted to NOT make her red leather clothes be glossy like most. This mini has one of the BEST faces of any I have ever had the pleasure of painting. Not overly detailed and cast well so there aren't any flash lines on it, unlike many. Yes, the joint of the wings connecting to the shoulders IS flesh in her... I didn't want the wings to just suddenly appear as if foreign from her body. This one is one of my favourites and best I've done. I'm getting the hang of some of this :)
