Chosen Knights of Tzeench with Champion
Here we have a unit of Chosen Knights of Tzeench with an aspiring champion as the battle standard bearer leading them. This is a big break away from all the Khorne stuff I've been doing. If you check my gallery at http://www.coolminiornot.com/browse/submitter/beestieboy you'll see what I mean. I like the really clean Tzeentch look. The creamy colored cloth came off quite nice once again proving to me that nothing beats many many layers of thin paint. The bright highly contrasting metals look really sharp. Speaking of sharp, I cut off the points of some push pins to use in the armour of the knights and they really are sharp! I know, I've drawn blood with them. There are a few conversions in here. The simplest was using Archaon's sword arm on the unit champion. Perfect fit after cutting the old one off. The Aspiring Champion (championess?) was a bit more involved. It's based on a Lord of Slaanesh model with any Slaanesh iconography filed off. The head and left arm were taken from a witch elf. The left hand and flames were made from green stuff. The right arm came from the Lord of Tzeench. This was a very fun unit to do that plays great on the battlefield as well. Please let me know what you think!! I hope you like them as much as I do.
