This was an experiment to test the theory that Vallejo are better than craft paints. One was painted entirely in Vallejo model colors and the other entirely in cheap Apple Barrel acrylics.

Can you tell which is which?

I learned much from this and if you go to the "the Zen of Paint Brands" forum thread you can see what I learned and whether you guessed correctly.

I have to be honest, I can't tell for sure but if I had to guess I'd say the one on the left is Apple Barrel.

Cool! I voted higher just because the experiment was so well conceived. I say the one on the left, and had to go check the answer in the forum...

The figure is from Ral Partha, dated 1977. I don't know who sculpted it. The base is the base it came on, just a flat disk. It's smaller than a penny, slightly smaller than a dime in fact.
