Ta darkstar,i agree with your comments,sometimes you wonder whether people are voting on the paintjob,but im happy with my score on this one,as the photo isnt the best....i used matte cote to finish her off,the shininess is due to my cruddy camera/lighting rig!
I think this deserves a higher score. 7.4 is pretty high for CMON these days but this has no reason to not be an eight. The photo is crisp, the skin tones are rich and deep, the nmm is right on and the color scheme is ultra proper. Once you get past the fact that it maybe has one or two shiny bits (sheesh people get over it already, so it's a wee bit shiny bfd.) I don't understand people's fascination with ultramatte these days, a little shiny brings it to life IMO. Nice job, an 8 at least.
