Mushnik Missile Launcher

Mushniks are my personal chapter (though I don't play I only paint) and they are my fighting group in the SCA so the armor is painted in the medieval heraldry of the group. This set of figs represent my first experience with plastic and my first experience at any kind of conversion. Here the conversion is minimal but obvious. It gives a guy with a missile launcher just enough attitude. I failed to notice when I took the picture that sand got onto his left foot. It's not glued there.

Ok comments having been invited here goes: I believe that your hightlights & shadows need some work. Your base shade of yellow is very light and therefore you are losing the effect of the edge highlight. I would suggets that your yellow is blended with a light brown (thinned vomit brown if you use GW) and use this sparingly. Use this like a 'blackline' on yellow just enough to give a degree of separation. Personally I always find Blue to be a B*****d to blend in but again I suggest blending a darker blue at the edges of the ZigZag pattern to accentuate the separation. My comments on here are meant to be helpful and not destructivly critical. Enjoy the hobby.

I definitely think that the finger gives this figure a good amount of attitude. I actually like the blue/yellow color scheme.
