Hey, thanks for the comment, And you're right the staff does look odd in the pic. I think it might be the glare? I am becoming convinced that a lot of the miniatures on this site have been professionally photographed or as much time was taken to photograph them as too paint them. :)
You apparently know more about painting than I do. Some things though: The staff seems well, odd somehow and you might want to read some articles on this site about photography, well EVERYONE on this site should read those articles.
