Drune Formor

One of the new Drune Daemonic Formors. I started this one 10 days ago and - as always when I am bored with my Dirz miniatures - I had a sudden Idea, that's why I started painting him. To be exactly I wanted to try a big area of flesh with different shades within the main-color. I wanted to do some sort of step-by-step guide on how to paint a cool formor, that's close to Rackhams scheme, but a bit different in the end. You can view the guide on my site (just follow the link and klick on "step-by-step" - I has to be completed still, but the important parts are there - I hope you like it. He has been a bit of a pain in the end, since it had a lot of details and especially the NMM parts with the small "swivels" gave me nightmares, since i had to concentrate a lot not to ruin it. The paint tended to run down from the less then a mm wide areas and ruin the shades - that's why there's an extra load smoke in the recesses of the NMM. Overall I really like how he turned out, though he took some kind of a own life while I was painting him and he is slightly different from what I wanted him to be, but that's ok. Comments welcome!

Wonderful, natural-looking NMM. The skin looks fantastic as well! I am looking forward to seeing that guide.
