Kroot Collector
This is my 40K Monster entry for Games Day Germany 2013. The rider body is converted to fit the pose and both arms are sculpted. The mount is out of the box with lots of armor plates (tin-sheet) added and a heavy bolter, built on a brass rod mount was added as well. The idea was to depict a renegade Kroot with his mount, who collected trophies in the battles he won, following the theme of the Kroot urge to collect DNA to reflect in other aspects of their life. Conveniently this way he can protect his mount by adding extra protection in the form of pirated armor plates. I was lucky enough to win Gold with it.
