This was my first try at lighting the figure within, and I'm reletivly happy with it. It looks a little bit much like blood to me, but I guess I probably shouldn't have started out with red, eh? Oh well. Squirmanator@post.com I do custom work and sell anything I have painted for cheap!

Well, I tried to make it seem like midnight and the only light was coming from his staff, hence the muted and dark pallet. I left off the pupils to try for a "in-a-trance" look, like he's casting the spell for the light or something. Thanks for the comments!

The lighting looks really good (I'm not even at the point I'd attempt that) the figure/base are a bit dark/one toned though, and the blending look a tad weak. Is he supposed to be blind?

On source lighting is a cool effect, but I'm not sure what on the mini is creating the light. If the globe on top of the staff is the light source, then it should eminate all around the globe and be brightest closest to the globe, but a nice job for the first try.
