I used some grass flocking on the shoulder to add to the effect that he had "emerged" from the Earth.

The photo is rather dark, so it is difficult to judge the painting. Looks like a clean paintjob. I like the idea of the bit of flock on the shoulder. But IMHO it would work better if there was more flocking on the base too.
