Lahmian Vampiress with Display Base

This was my entry for Fantasy Single at the Sydney 2003 Games Day. She was quite an experiment in painting techniques for me with a lot of free hand work as well as a very different palette of colours used. I used purple as a shading tone throughout which gives the mini a cool tone to all of the colours even the reds, and gives a nice ghostly quality. The leaf litter on the base was a bit of a find in the kitchen spice rack, not sure what it is but it smells kinda nice. The grave markers are carved from plasticard with some putty detailing (except the GW one in the middle at the back).
