Barbarian Warrior of Heimdall, Reaper 2350

This is my first attempt into the realm of painting miniatures. I figured that I would work on bases later, so I didn't really attempt anything on that. I was rather pleased with the way it came out.

For a first try at painting, you did very well. One of these days I'll post my first try - which I still have in its original paint. I can't tell if the shadows are due to the light or to actual paint, but a bit of drybrushing will certainly bring out some details. Keep painting, you are off to a very good start.

You will find as you spend more time here that "tabletop" is higher quality here than in your local game shop. This is a very good piece and you are brave for starting with a near naked fig. The furs and helmet hair do need highlighting though. I love how the axe head came out
