Templar Knight

Well this is one of a pack of 4 knights. I figure I would get a lot of blending practice with the gown. I think that I found a good color for the leather boots and gloves. Additionally I was happy with how clean all the lines ended up. Heck I was even brave and tried, with some success I think, to put a NMM finish on the mace. The highlighting on the cape is a little better than the photo shows. Since my lighting was intense I think that any natural shadows were removed. Any comments on likes and dislikes are welcome, since this is the 4th minature that I have painted, and am eager and willing to learn.

Clean Job, overall. I don´t like the base... try some static grass or a little flock...oh, and try to give the poor guy a thump at his weapon arm...

Amazing for mini number 4. The color scheme looks good overall. For boots and other leather, try GW Scorched brown (or equivalent) brightenend up to Snakebite Leather, that works nicely. U could also try brightening up w/ Red Gore, that gives a nice reddish glow. I also think u took the photo after varnishing your mini, dont do that, it makes your mini glow and the detail work is less visible. (or u used ink that wasn't diluted enough?). Anyways, keep it up!

Very nicely done. I agree with Brettus' point of varying the colour some. If you are going with a theme of the colours showing the knight's allegiances, you could have used some white in the helmet and shoulder pads, and still kept the theme going (since the shield is blue and white). Also, I agree that the base needs something.
