Empire pistoliers
OK, it seams I'm continuing with painting after short break... Just five years, nothing special. :-) In many respects it was like begining from the start. Learning again how the paints behave, re-inventing my standard routine, futile attemts to recall how the hell did I mixed this precise hue five years ago etc. But the skill comes back quite quickly. Well, two editions of Warhammer passed meanwhile, and there are new models for most of the units. New, but not necessarily better looking, at least in my opinion. So building of my Empire army will probably take a lot of ebaying for oop models I guess. :-) It was the case of these pistoliers too. I choosed these old models because I like their strong inspiration by real historical armour and the soul and "handmade" touch I somehow miss on the new models. Which doesn't mean that the new plastic kit can't provide several bits for converting and help to make this unit unique and combining the best from both worlds. :-) Anyway, I hope you like it, if for no other reasons than simply because of nostalgy. :-) Anyway, thanks for looking.
