This is a mini I did for my friend Sam (hi Sam!) for our fantasy campaign. This is only my second submitted mini, please don't be too brutal! :)

I don't think there is anything to be brutal about. This is a well painted mini. The wood grain is good, the color choices are good. All the straps and buckles are good. If I had to complain I would say the eyebrows are too thick. It actually makes this man look a little more feminine that I think he would otherwise. Very nice.

Thanks dauber. I was actually doing this piece for a friend, and he specified "dark skin". It was only about ha;fway through doing the flesh that I realized he was lighter than my friend wanted. I didn't want to use too much highlight and make it appear even lighter. I'm working on a better lighing and photo setup... Excuses aside, you're right. :)

Having a hairstyle rapidly approaching this fellows, I think he could use another level of highlights on the top of his head :-) Other than that, a nicely done piece. The pictures a little dark though. Brighter lighting would help it IMHO
