Ochre Jelly

I used semi gloss to give him a slimy look. This is from a boxed set of monsters.

That's very good. The model accurately captures the Monster Manual description of an amoeba like creature, which can split off its own offspring. Your paint job is perfect - simple but very effective. It's one of those 'orrible things that your adventurers are going to meet and discover that virtually nothing works against it. Eeek. Come on, snap this off of the cardboard base, and make it a 10.

This is the second mini I ever painted, years back!!! Brings back a lot of memories. I think my technique for making it slimy at the time was to use white glue, since it got little bubbles in it which made it look extra gross. This came from an old Grenadire box set, Dungeon Denisens was it? I still have that box set... need to go find it now.

Good thing this was in a boxed set, I wouldn't have bought that as a blister. The height of sculpting art. You did the best with it that you could.
