Painted by a friend of mine for use in our D&D game, it's only her 7th figure to paint. The mini is not as glossy as the picture would suggest, still working on my cameraskills.
I think it has all been said. For only a 7th mini this is very good. It is certainly tabletop IMO. I am not too sure about that orange colour though, possibly a bit too bright for a character of this nature.
You've defined the detail ok on this but you really need to thin your paint a lot more. When adding additional layers of paint make sure it is thinned down to a consistency of cream/milk. Several thin layers are much better, neater and easier to apply than paint straight from the pot. Also, try painting a very thin wask of black/dark brown over the metallics, It will add lots of definition. Read a few articles about highlighting and shading too, these are essential and make all the difference. Apart from that, keep painting... you'll soon get it :)
A 7 for the picture quality, and a 4 for the paintjob.
The painter of this mini has a pretty steady hand, but the mini looks a bit "chunky" overall. Those paints definitly need to be thinned. And try to avoid metal showing up (like the bottom of the base).
