My second CoolMiniOrNot contest figure. A better sculpt deserves a better paint job.
The starting point was the phoenix that I painted on the shield. This set the palette and decorative patterns for the rest.
7-7.5 Nice freehand on shield, skirt, and cloak trim. I'm not too fond of the spear head. Like the wood grain on the shield, and the eyes. Wish the lips were a brighter color. Cloak could be highlighted a little bit more. Again, seriously good definition on the free hand.
