More work on highlighting, and shading required although overall colour selection not bad. The basing is a little weak...perhaps scrap the skull (although..this looks the best shaded of the piece) and go for a variation on your mushroom theme...add more flock and maybe not a green base colour...something else that wont detract from the green skin of the little guy. A few ink washes should bring out that hidden detail.
