Goreth the Massive
Hey all, Goreth was the first mini that I made a serious attempt at after getting back into painting 6 years ago. I finished him in September of 2005. He was also my first go at NMM - I worked for hours on placing the highlights on that scythe (not easy to figure out where light falls on something like that). When I started to paint an actual goblin army a few years later, I choose a fleshy orange skin color. Goreth's skin is green because, well, I hadn't yet painted any gobbos when I started him, and I liked the idea of a really fat, slovenly orc directing hordes of jackal warriors into battle.
