This mini started and stopped 3 different times, due to various mishaps that marred the painting and forced me to start all over. At last, he's done. :) I tried to add more contrast than the last Ashigaru I painted, all the while keeping the colors vibrant. A tricky task I found - not a simple matter of adding white to your colors and blending smoothly. Cheers, and thanks for voting! RR

This is wonderful! I agree with honor guard bout the face highlights! But that's just to send it waaaay over the top! Because it's already waay over the top now!

Great job. More contrast makes the mini brighter than your previous Ashigaru. I think you can do better NMM on the sword, but the skin and the shield are amazing.

only gripe is the round base. J/k love it, the colors are great, love how some of the simplest rackham sculpts look so good with an awesome paintjob.
