Female Farseer Conversion
To start out - this model is a huge conversion and amoung our most ambitious projects to date. To detail the parts used individually... Dark Elf Wych upper half donated kindly to us as scrap metal (woo!). Eldar Guardian legs and "open handed" arm. Eldar Farseer sacrified for bits of rune armor and one shoulder pad. Dire Avengers pistol. Dark Eldar Drazhar's backpack poles. High Elf Swordmaster Standard Bearer, sacrified for that gorgeous spear! The ultimate point of this model is to match one in GW's Black Library release "Farseer" but have it spiced up to match our well-known "Void Dragon Phoenix 'Ice Queen'". This chick is painted to match the pilots in that vehicle and operate as a leader of Sildani's pirate faction. An attempt was made to slice the armor off an existing farseer and transfer it to this model but it failed utterly. Looking through the background of the harsh ice world that this Farseer is from and the simple fact it's made from Wraithbone - we combined the two. The armor is wider than typical rune armor and it fits in with the rest of the work done here. We've posed the model for the ultimate in dynamics and Kali outdid herself by adding the coat to the model... the vast majority of what is visible on this model is actually SCULPTED, not just switched out. And did you notice how much she looks like Troi from ST:TNG? :) The unpainted version of this model is available as item #21661
