Legolas Before and After

This was one of my first minis I painted. I really was trying to get the face right, but ended up putting on so much paint that it just looked sick. I had posted it before and it had about a 5.7. Now I've redone the face and the hair. I actually had to scrape off all the paint on the face, which I wasn't sure if it would work, but it wasn't too bad -- better than just leaving it with the awfully-painted face. I'm interested in your opinions. It seems like no matter how well you do a mini, if the face is bad, it detracts from the whole thing. Did this re-furb job help much? Comments are welcome!

No Such Agency
I won't lie to you, the new version still needs some work (stronger highlighting on the green, some darklining between the hair and face) but it's a solid 6 whereas the first was barely a 5. Definitely worth the effort :) On a side note, this figure seems really square-jawed, much more so than the film Legolas who makes all my female friends' knees go weak...
