Board under construction for the boardgame "Minos". Playingmodels are two 1:72 roman / greek infantrymen for each Warhammer 40k base (seen in the first picture). The pictures are not for rating of course, I m just seekin`for a tip how to do the "filling". Has somebody experience with the water-design with woodglue? Or do I have to use liquid resin? Any tips and comments welcome.

As you can see (hardly, a bit small i know), the sand has a liquid wood-glue-finish (Ponal, mixed with water). You can see the marks I ve made through the sand with also that glue-water-mix. It definetly drys out colorless. Maybe you use a different glue. The white gluerests you can see at the coastlines is just not dry.

Well, I've never done water effects, but I've also never seen wood glue dry clear, so I would certainly NOT use wood glue :).
