Astra Militarum - Taurox Prime
Inspired by WW2 / modern warfare scenario vehicles like the German ATF Dingo 2, British Mastiff PV, or Wehrmacht Sd.Kfz.250/3 "Greif". I modified the original Taurox kit to let it look more realistic (...in a sci-fi sense...). The model has the following features: - enlarged chassis - magnetized 2-part-roof for easy access - 6x6 suspension built of axis and tires - doors and hatches (1 added at the top) can be opened - several HQesque details like radar, frame antenna, map, force org chart paper stuff, laptop (with USB stick), radio, headsets with cables - crew upgraded with seatbelts for commander and driver, a radar operator, space in the troops compartment for one 40mm base model to represent the command squad onboard - several other accessories and details like dust filters for crew compartment and engine, exterior mirrors, additional optics for ammo-belt-fed turret, changed exhaust end-pipes, towing cables, protective gratings for fan-type exhaust pipes and exterior baggage ...the whole thing started as my first-Airbrush-test-model but I got carried away a bit, starting to like the Taurox kit. The Company Commander figure is not designed specifically for the kit. Thx to Dad for the pictures.
