Coverted Dark Elf Lord
A piece I finally finished recently and decided to place on ebay, especially since I usually don't go back to paint my pieces, and would like to see someone else add the vibrant life to this druchii that paint will accomplish. I also hope that this will give dark elf players a better option for their lord, since we don't have any model options (gumble). This piece is supposed to represent a dark elf executioner lord, though it can also be any lord or hero. I added a few skulls (the one on the base the lord is standing on, and the skull motif on the greave) to underscore the cruelty of the dark elves, and added the elegance of the elven race to the weapon through the filigree. I also went ahead and sprayed the piece, since I felt the unified color would give you a better sense of the miniature, and I think the spray I used is superior to GW sprays, and since many buyers of this would be GW players, I wanted to give them this advantage for painting.
