Angelic Sculpt

I present to you my first man-sized (30mm) model I have ever sculpted, the Dominion. This is model I decided to sculpt for a group of forum users who are trying to create an Angelic Host type army to the warhammer world. While I know Warhammer gamers are a bit divided on the idea of angels being a presence in fantasy, it's an interesting army list nevertheless, with fairly well thought out fluff. On the model itself, I sculpted the piece out of nothing but Green Stuff, GW Brettonian Pegasus wings, and a pair of boots from a GW Empire Free Company model (I just got lazy, kinda regret it now). While I know this isn't the most beautifully sculpted model, I'm happy with the pose and emotional response the green can evoke. The faceless quality may seem odd, but it's exactly what I was going for. To me, I saw the lack of a face as a way to evoke a feeling of fear from a being that would at the same time appear so majestic. I think I accomplished this I have no idea on what colors to paint this piece, so if anyone could give me suggestions, I'd be grateful. Also generally suggestion on my sculpting would be appreciated as well, since I am trying to get better, after all.

This is a really nice dramatic sculpt. The basing is great and I like the ribbons over the wings. The faceless quality is weird but I like that too. His left hand and forearm look a bit odd, though. They just don't blend well with the quality of the rest of the sculpt IMO.
