Half-orc Assassin

My meager attempt at duplicating the awsome job done by chambersofminiatures #306. This is my best work yet though my photography is still very poor. I loved this sculpt until I got it out of the box and saw that there is a HUGE metal connection piece from the right sword to the right leg. I just painted it black for lack of any other ideas. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome!

seems a bit redundant to mention picture quality, but it is hard to tell what is going on here. It would appear you were a bit concerned about how to handle the knife being connected to the leg,,,don't be afraid to stick an ex-acto in there and cut that sucka' free.

What? No bright red codpiece? :) I think the photograph quality is a little poor with this, so it's a bit hard to give a good review of it. It looks fairly well painted, but I can't really say for sure.

Not a very good photo, certainly. On the bright side, he looks pretty good. Nice , smooth flesh tones, and the cloak is nicely shaded. One observation, though: Whenever you feel you have finished a mini, go one step further and add another highlight. Models this size benefit greatly from very dramatic higlighting. You seem to be on the right track, keep it up.
